Data Deletion Instructions

Horton is an internal Counsel Ops social listening tool for Instagram comment moderation. If you are an authorized Instagram account owner, administrator, or affected commenter, you may request deletion of data processed by Horton.

How To Request Deletion

Email caleb@counsel.co with the subject line “Horton data deletion” and include the Instagram username, post URL, comment URL or approximate comment date, and the data you want deleted.

What Horton Can Delete

Horton can delete stored comment records, moderation results, delivery attempt records, and connected Instagram account metadata controlled by Counsel Ops. Horton does not delete Instagram comments from Instagram in version 1.

Timing

Counsel Ops will review deletion requests and remove qualifying Horton records as soon as practical after verifying the request.
