Privacy Policy

Horton is a social listening tool operated by Counsel Ops for monitoring comments on Instagram accounts that Counsel Ops owns or is authorized to manage. Horton detects potentially inappropriate or brand-risk comments and sends flagged comment alerts to an OpenClaw agent for follow-up.
Information We Collect
When Horton is connected to an Instagram Professional account, it may process comments on owned Instagram posts, comment IDs, comment text, commenter usernames, comment timestamps, media IDs, post captions, post permalinks, and moderation metadata generated by Horton.
Horton does not intentionally collect passwords, payment information, private direct messages, or data from Instagram accounts that Counsel Ops does not own or manage.
How We Use Information
We use the information Horton processes to:
- Detect potentially inappropriate, hostile, spammy, scam-related, or brand-risk comments.
- Create an audit trail of moderation decisions.
- Send flagged comment alerts to OpenClaw so the team can review them.
- Monitor application health, delivery status, and duplicate-event handling.
Sharing And Processors
Horton sends flagged comment payloads to OpenClaw. OpenClaw may post alerts to Slack or other internal operational channels configured by Counsel Ops. Horton uses infrastructure providers such as Vercel for hosting and Supabase for database storage. Meta provides the Instagram platform APIs used to access owned Instagram comment data.
We do not sell personal information.
Data Retention
Horton stores comment records, moderation results, and delivery attempts for operational review and audit purposes. Counsel Ops may delete data when it is no longer needed, when access is disconnected, or when a valid deletion request is received.
Security
Horton keeps API credentials and connection strings outside the browser in deployment environment variables. Access to production infrastructure is limited to authorized operators. No system can guarantee perfect security, but Horton is designed to minimize the amount of data it forwards and to avoid taking destructive actions on Instagram comments in version 1.
Your Choices
If you are an authorized account owner or administrator, you may request that Counsel Ops disconnect Horton, delete stored comment records, or provide information about the Instagram account connection.
Children
Horton is an internal business operations tool and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect information from children through Horton.
Changes
We may update this policy as Horton changes. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised last updated date.
